Range companion

The range is better with company. A second set of eyes, a spotter for your groups, and someone who knows the safety rules as well as you do.

I’m not an instructor and I don’t hand out advice you didn’t ask for. What I offer is a safe, familiar presence: someone to go with, to watch the line while you shoot, to confirm a zero, and to make the trip a little more enjoyable than going alone.

What I can help with

• Going along as a range companion and extra set of eyes
• Spotting for groups and confirming your zero
• Watching the line and helping keep things safe
• Loading magazines, setting up targets, and packing up
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of your firearms

How it works

Tell me when and where you’re planning to go, and what you’re hoping to get out of the trip. We’ll meet at the range. I bring my own gear and eye and ear protection, and I follow the range’s rules and yours.

Safety comes first, always — if something looks off on the line, I’ll say so. Beyond that, we go at your pace and enjoy the day.
