Repair

Don’t replace it. Fix it.

A lot of the tech people throw away is one small part, one failed update, or one forgotten setting away from working fine again. I’d rather see something get a few more years of life than end up in a drawer or a landfill — and usually it can.

I work on the everyday stuff: computers that won’t boot or run slow, phones and tablets, home networks, printers, and the little gadgets that stop behaving. Sometimes the fix is a repair, sometimes it’s a reinstall, and sometimes it’s just telling you honestly that it’s time to let this one go.

What I can help with

  • Diagnosing and repairing computers, laptops, and phones
  • Speeding up slow machines and clearing out software problems
  • Home and small-office networks, Wi-Fi, and printers
  • Data backup, recovery, and getting you onto something new
  • Setting up devices and showing you how to keep them running

How it works

Bring me the device or describe the problem, and I’ll take a look and tell you what I think is wrong before doing anything. Most fixes are quick and cheap; when a repair means ordering a part or a bigger job than it’s worth, I’ll tell you straight and we’ll decide together.
